Abstract Tree Workshop
AT gently
This May we provided workshops for children and adults at Gently in Crofton Park to raise money for street trees to be planted in the local area - Southeast London.
We are working with Street Trees for Living to facilitate this project - a group of volunteers who work with an ever-expanding group of engaged local residents and business all committed to greening our streets.
In the workshops participants created abstract tree ornaments using a selection of wood, paint and a range of materials.
In these playful workshops, metaphorical tree sculptures were created by participants using geometric shapes, brilliant colour and tactile ingredients. Thank you all for attending and helping us to plant trees in Lewisham.
