FAMILY ART MAKING WORKSHOP

AT DESIGN CAROUSEL - CORAM'S FIELDS 

We took part in Design Carousel - London’s first children’s design fair set in a magical parkland in the heart of the city. 

In this playful and creative workshop we invited families to explore and discover interesting textures, surfaces and objects through undertaking a selection of art making activities.   

Participants were encouraged to explore the historical site of Coram’s Fields as a springboard for ideas and to capture parts of the outside environment through collage and rubbings.

There was also the opportunity for families to create a space for play and exploration, using collage, drawing and photomontage, in The Meeting Room. 

This workshop focused on process, creativity and exploration and ended with the images created by families coming together, generating an installation of visual imagery.
